Exchange students stay at the student dormitory and study Japanese language and culture at the Center for International Exchange Programs. Exchange students also experience various aspects of Japanese culture with Japanese students at various events outside of the classroom. Daily Japanese language classes Japanese culture off-campus program (Inuyama, Ise, Takayama, etc.) StudyMate and supporters for exchange students About Tokai Region → Center for International Exchange Programs Exchange Program to SJU Courses for Exchange Students Academic Calendar Support Partner Institutions Under the exchange program, students currently studying Japanese language at their home institutions can continue their studies at our university, and Sugiyama students can study abroad at one of the partner institutions. The participants receive credits at their home institutions for academic work done at the partner institutions.   Exchange students from the partner institutions live at the school dormitory and mainly study Japanese language and culture at the CIEP. Moreover, the home visits organized during the weekends help students not only to improve their Japanese language skills but also to give them an opportunity to experience everyday Japanese life.
