Provide an outstanding support environment for excellent research and development History January, 2008 The Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) is founded as part of the Institute for integrated Cell-Material Science (iCeMS), Kyoto University. April, 2009 The iPS Cell Research Fund is set up. February, 2010 The CiRA building is completed. April, 2010 CiRA is recorganized as an institute independent of iCeMS. April, 2013 Uehiro Research Division for iPS Cell Ethics is established. March, 2015 The Second CiRA building is completed. February, 2017 The Third CiRA building is completed. April, 2020 iPS Cell Stock Project is moved to the CiRA Foundation.
